As a continuation of the dedication and commitment that ECHN employees uphold each and every day, our staff members are invited each year to support us in many ways.

Employee Support of Philanthropy

At ECHN, patient care is at the heart of every member of our team. Each day, patients and families express their gratitude by supporting the ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation with philanthropic gifts and notes and letters of appreciation. This activity provides them the opportunity to say thank you to the caregivers who made a difference and were there when they were needed the most. Our dedicated staff takes pride in their work, our organization and our financial viability and understands that their care strengthens the outcomes for the ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation. Each team member has a vital presence in our community and their understanding of our non-profit status empowers them to refer grateful patients and family members to the Foundation if they wish to express their appreciation of care.

ECHN Annual Employee Campaign

Through the ECHN Employee Campaign, employees are able to support the philanthropic efforts of ECHN. Many employees choose to give through the Annual Employee Campaign, as they are able to see firsthand the impact that donations can make on the lives of patients and their families.

ECHN Care Fund

Employees of ECHN are able to help their co-workers in a very special way during the holidays and beyond. By giving to the ECHN Care Fund, employees quietly and confidentially help co-workers during their times of crisis.

Employees in need apply for a one-time grant (usually between $50 and $700) from the ECHN Department of Pastoral Care. The grant is given as a "no-strings attached" gift, requiring no payback. Everything is strictly anonymous, for both those who give to the fund and those who receive gifts from it. As it can be very hard for staff members to ask for help themselves, requests are frequently made by supervisors or other employees who become aware of a staff member's situation.

Making a Gift

Employees can give through payroll deduction, donate unused paid leave hours, by credit card or by sending in a check made out to the ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation, Inc. Employees may also donate online using our secure donation form. 

All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
